Green Bay’s Next Test Is Repeatability

Dallas asks different questions of a confident Packers defense.

The following is independent Pro Football Highlights analysis.

Which part travels to next week?

Takeaways can change a game quickly. Coverage communication, sound tackling and a pass rush that works together are the habits a defense can try to repeat. The next opponent helps distinguish a durable improvement from a single afternoon when nearly every opportunity became a turnover.

Disguise without confusion

Changing the picture before and after the snap can challenge a veteran quarterback, but complexity carries a cost when defenders are not seeing the same thing. Watch whether the secondary can vary its presentation while preserving leverage and keeping receivers from running free.

The offense shares responsibility

A defense’s work becomes harder when its own offense repeatedly gives away field position or sends it straight back onto the field. For both clubs, the important sequence may be the ordinary drive after an opponent scores. Can the offense restore control without immediately needing an explosive play? That tells us more than a pregame label about momentum.
